	Here is my latest: A 1978 Viva E, 1256. I bought it last week from the original owner with a full 38000 miles on the clock and all the bills and docs from day one. As you see in the following pics the body is a bit scruffy, but mechanicals and interior are good. Could do with a wheel trim is anyone has one (one is missing)? My plans: keep standard for now, little bodywork maybe...I'm open to suggestions tho as to longer term? Not bad for a chance garage find I think and drives nice too.

	It's a pretty decent example so why not just do up the cosmetics and keep as is.

	Nice looking motor but i would find it hard to keep ip stock, it is a 2 door so the potential is there? I'm building a HB 2 door it too was a clean motor with a sweet engine but 1159cc just don't do it for me

	lovely car mate, i'd say dump it with wide period wheels and shove a 350 chevy in it but thats easy to say and takes dosh.... Whatever you do, great find!

	My Dad had an R-reg one of these in the early 80s. It was a rusty shed that he spent far too many late nights making road-worthy. From what I remember, the hand-brake only worked occasionally, the interior heater didn't work and it leaked a lot of oil. If only he'd kept it At college we had old Viva gearboxes to play with, very simple they were.

	Can you believe I'm taking it to the 'ring in less than a month!!! 1500 miles in 7 days...let's see if it makes it; I'll post some more pics when I've done my prep.
