Episode 1: North Yorkshire MoorsRichard Wilson tries to recreate great 1950s drives in a Moggie Traveller. Best bit for me was seeing X-Bumble and Belleairlugosi (the owner of the Chevy with the big hawk) doing their bit to show oldschool Goths know their cars and their history. Pity they didn't show more of the Chevy, I've told Belleairlugosi to post a build thread on here but I think he is a bit shy.

yeah saw that, gonna watch the rest of em, looked like an interesting drive, bit far for me just for that one, but i'm hoping if he spreads em out over the country a bit i could do a few of em.

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

And he does a mean hill start in a fully loaded Moggy I thought it was really good, the Penelope Keith program after about a trip to Liverpool in a 1902 DDB wasn't bad either, better than the Drivetime program at the end

Heh heh heh... Glad you all enjoyed it. Was a lot of fun filming it all. I really have only 2 photos of the Chevy as it was when I got it, They are rubbish pics of a rotten rear panel. I have built so many cars over the years I just don't normally take pics as I go. So... No build thread I'm afraid. I'm still adding n improving so I will stick a few pics of this on my old thread as and when I do stuff. Just added new headlights, eye brows and Caddy tail lights < When I get the adapters I made back from chromers > I will go get me camera.

Oh THAT Chevy. Bloody gorgeous car!
Saw it a few years back at Pickering. Took quite a few pics too actually.
Loved that episode, Nice to see stuff you know on telly since I've grown up one trips to Whitby and Scarborough, and indeed have driven myself on those roads seen in the program.

Great program, basically my stomping ground...
Watched an old repeat 'a-b tales of modern motoring' on Iplayer too, bit of a retro fest of 'first cars'
