Nicely done! Will look the dogs with Pentas on. One question: how wide are those Pentas? My 16 x 8.5J's had a bit of trouble squeezing under the front arches, even on 205 tyres. But it's a different model so hopefully you won't encounter a problem

they're 8j. if i have to il modify the arch. how hard can rolling them be?
the feelers are supposed to stop you kerbing your rims. when they touch the kerb they make an awful scrapping noise to alert you. that is if you don't have the stereo on full belt ;D

My method of rolling the arches: tw@t it with suitable hammer ;D Maybe you could get 195's on the front on those rims? Not sure... it'd be easier to steer anyway - 205s and no PAS under two ton of Benz makes it quite hard work!

Looks the nuts mate I'd be tempted to go with red steelies and whitewalls but i know it wouldnt work with that paint. Just out of interest, does anyone know if its possible to put a stacklight front end on a 123?

put it on the steelies and trims of the wagon bud and take some more pics , just out of interest. il do that as soon as i can, maybe wednesday il have to drive it onto some bricks cos i cant get the jack under it ;D ;D cheers for the comments guys, makes all the hard work worth while

I'll have to drive it onto some bricks cos i cant get the jack under it ;D ;D One of my rules is: if you can pull the jack out after you've lowered it then you ain't done it properly! ;D

Ahmen to that. Except for Volvos. The crossmember hits the floor first! leaving room for the jack to come out. Clever Swedes, they even thought of slammed Volvos.

Just out of interest, does anyone know if its possible to put a stacklight front end on a 123? Well, the chassis are completely different, but similarly proportioned, so I wouldn't think it'd be all that much work... a man of your ability and all that... ;D

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
