sorry to sound like a gormo......well i prob am,
but i cant open the front of my imp, the bonnet part. am i being a dick end or is there a hidden lever or something.
any help please! and also feel free to curse word take ;D

Good to hear you got it, I was just about to suggest looking for a little white lever under the dash on the passenger side but as you say you've got it!

Although two of my favourites are topping up the master cylinder on:
a. A VW T25 van. b. A Morris Minor.
Both of those required the purchase of a manual for me! ;D

It's a small plastic bung on the inside of the wing, under the bonnet, behind the drivers side headlamp! Obvious really!

And Fiat in there infinite wisdom didn't bother putting a hose clip on the hose on the bottle to the screen. So when it falls off as they all do,you have to jack up the car, take off wheel, and wheelarch liner to get at it to put it back on...

sounds like vw all over again,on the polo's the pipe falls off the jet when the water freezes and you have to take off the tailgate trim to get to it,bad news is that water gets in the boot lock and screws around with the centreal locking.
