my boys quad bike carb is knackered and keeps letting petrol in even when the floats up

Hi there,
What model /age is it?
Lot of bikes that size will run on monkey/pit bike carbs.
Have you stripped the carb and checked float height etc?

yeah the pit bike ones don't fit as they have a flange on the end mine is like a pipe with no flange
the carb i have stripped and even when you hold the float up manualy petrol still poors in
