Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Judging by the amount of people that wear kilts to weddings outside Scotland, it wouldn't surprise me if you could get a few bookings wherever you're based.

Reminds me of all those awful little tourist towns up north, where everything's tartan, there's always some b*stardised version of Scotland the Brave playing in the shops all day, every day, you can't move without someone trying to sell you a kilt , a bottle of whisky or a load of sad postcards with ginger cows on them, and there's a busker with a pair of bagpipes on every corner! ;D ;D ;D Obviously it's an airport-hotel tourist taxi, in which well off numpties from Texas can ask the driver, who claims to be called Jock, where the haggises live and how to catch one, and 'Mari's Wedding' is on permanant repeat on the CD player! ;D ;D ;D ;D It's fun for the rest of you, but believe me, those of us who actually live in Scotland get fed up with it pretty quickly! Hoots man! ;D ;D |
