Here's a pic of my GT/E Exclusive Coupe on it's new wheels. Sadly, they look to small so I'm now getting rid of them for some 16" Compomotive MO's in white. Does anyone have a set lying 'round? Other wheel suggestions welcome !!!

Does anyone know of any Manta coupes laid up or rotting away anywhere? I'm after a non-sunroof coupe, not bothered about the condition of the car providing the roof is rot free & straight. Cheers ;D

Nice! So what;s the difference between the "exclusive" and a regular Manta of the time? Other than the boot spoiler?

Nice! So what;s the difference between the "exclusive" and a regular Manta of the time? Other than the boot spoiler? Compared to thee GT/E the GT/E Exclusive is an Irmscher model.....it has the 400 rear spoiler, blanking plate between rear lights, different rear bumper, quad headlamps, Leather steering wheel, two tone grey recaros & anthracite finished alloys.

i remember having a manta brochure... when i was (much) younger i used to go to the motor show every year with my granddad and just come home laden down with brochures - not for cool stuff like jags and rovers but for things like vauxhalls, peugeots, ford commercial vehicles. i'd then spend the next few months soaking up exactly what specification a pug 205 XN was, what options you could have on a transit hi-cube, and other sad stuff. anyway, the point is that when darren asked what the difference was between the regular manta and the 'exclusive', i knew most of them off by heart. even though i've never owned one and not seen the brochure since the mid 1980's wish i still had them, they'd be cool!

I actually have a brochure for the exclusive at home, but I don't have such a good memory!
I must have about four or five THOUSAND brochures, all collected between about 1978 and about 1990ish... I keep meaning to go round all the garages and get new ones like I used to, but never seem to get chance!

well at the time i only really 'collected' to read them for a few months and i was never too bothered when my mum cleared them all out every so often. when you're 6 or 7 you don't plan into the future, and you never imagined there'd be a thing called 'eBay' where people would pay money for them! i'd start now but.... time! i do want to get the brochures for cars i've owned though, so if you have any spare 1991 Audi 90 / 1991 Polo G40 / 1985 Scirocco Storm lying around..... anyway. which way back to the topic?
