I think I may have mentioned this before, but one of those old "On a mission..." rear window stickers from the 90's can quite easily be cut up to spell "Onanism..." I don't own a TV, but have quite a few Overhaulin' episodes on DVD to watch on the laptop. Stupid plot with the car being 'stolen' etc, but always such clever work in the few days they have. Would be honoured to meet the man. Would also like to see that Pop sketch! If you got the chance to ask him to draw his interpretation of a European motor, what would it be? Splitty Mog would be the obvious choice for a typically Brit motor, but would also be intrigued to see something a little more modern such as a Citroen XM or similar.

This might be bad, but I've never heard of any of these people, nor have I heard of/seen an episode of Overhaulin! I Would be very interested to see it now though! On the strength of those 4 or 5 photos at the beginning of this thread, the quality of the work looks really good, but I can't say I like them very much; not my kind of thing. Fair play to them though; they're obviously very 'talented' (I'm not a believer in natural talent, but this is not the time or place for such a discussion).

Stupid plot with the car being 'stolen' etc, but always such clever work in the few days they have. Maybe I'm a cynic but I wonder if thats real or the magic of TV at work again. Even with a big team working for you I look at some of the builds and wonder if its physically possible to turn them in the time they say they do.

easy to do. you just gotta look at there set up to see how. they work non stop, say 20 guys all knowing what to do. a lot of the time they get in a off the shelf chassis, crate engine ect. don't take long to bolt one together. bit of resto and some mild custom touches. pro trimmers doing the inside, pro painters with a booth waiting to do the outside.dozen body men prepping. set of one off rims and bobs youre uncle.
certainly build nice cars in the time they have.
theve done it at sema befor in front of the live audience.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
