I'm one of those who doesn't really like "fake" rat stuff but this is something else. A lot of time and skill has gone into that.
I hope its getting sorted in the ride height, engine and wheels departments. Though running it around with those old steelies would be a giggle for a bit.

The overall look isn't my cup of Earl Grey, but it's definitely better than taking a perfectly good car and then sanding the paint to make it rust all over, as some people do. ;D

I like. Sort of. Seems a shame to put so much effort into something that looks, well, knackered. But I can see a lot of effort has gone into it, and it doesn't appear to overdone. I'd roll in it.

i think the look suits certain vehicles , like old 50s pick ups never look right in pristine paint , yet that way at least your maintaining the bodyworks condition and not running bare metal

I'm with Seth on the fake patina though.
I'm also with everyone else who says its better than letting good steel go rusty for the effect.
Patina is more than just "kewl look how rusty it is". Patina is the witness of time. A perfectly shiny car can have patina. You can't honestly replicate the way that 50 year old cellulose paint comes up with a t-cut and a few nicks, dings and thin patches...

looks good (well amazing actually) but id prefer to be rolling in a mid 50's yank or somthing thats just been pulled from the desert with real surface rust where the paint has been burnt off by the shear perfect weather in the states  |
