It'd be pretty stupid to 'shop a picture of your car when trying to sell it on ebay wouldn't it? I reckon it's a euro-hearse

The silver one, was a saloon, but they've chopped out the boot etc, extended the roof and put the tailgate from an original breadvan/mini estate shape on, or something along those lines...

We had polo vans here in Ireland for tax reasons , in fact we had van versions of just about any hatch or jeep. I've even seen a Fiat Cinquecento van

That german one is superb! Apart from the mirrors and stupid melting bonnet. What a lot of work!

I reckon that due to this forum I've looked at more polo pics in the last 2 or 3 days than I had in all the preceeding part of my life and as much as I'm not bothered about all this fwd car-modding it has stimulated my interest enough to go and look on google and see what's what. Everyone loves Mk3 coupes don't they? *yawn* (sorry bart) - in my opinion there's one polo that stands apart from the rest, one polo that should, nay, must be sought out and customised before all others - ladies an gentleman I give you the Mk1 polo Derby/Saloon. And if there's gonna be a weekly real photo comp then how about a weekly photoshop comp? Best 'shopped version of one of the two pics above gets..... a cyber-pat on the back!

they do rock in a completely different style to the mk3's derbys and mk1s tend to suit a few choice accessories, period rims and a touch of elegance. mk3s tend to suit stretched tyres, Ronal Turbos, smoothed everything. got a mk2? create your own style! i don't really mind what year my polo is as long as it has a cute lil' supercharger. it's a shame i had to get rid of my spare charger, that would have been fun on the rocco. sadly most of the metal inside had turned to scrap though
