I bought a new motor the otherday so need to shift this.
Be aware:
1. Ive nicked the wheels for the new car so it comes with standard wheels (a choice of 10 infact!)
2. The passenger side driveshaft has developed a big rattle so needs replacing asap, I'm not sure if the drivers side is the same, it seems better but id guess it would be a good idea to do it too, they both feel 'loose' but I'm not sure if they are supposed to be a bit loose if you know what I mean. The car drives but it makes some funny noises so best get it seen too!
- Its lowered alot (cut springs at the rear, torsion bars at the front)
- The exhaust is a twin box system that I built (its good quality but don't expect silence)
- The headlining has been removed but I have it ready for re-covering.
- Theres a few dents ( top and bottom
) but no major rust.
- Theres a few spare bits included lke lights and stuff.
- The interior is a bit grubby but should clean up, the cassette player is broken (it didnt like soft cell!)
Otherwise it seems to be working fine as usual, the engine runs sweet and untill the driveshafts started playing up its never given me any problems dispite going to Berlin and back and god knows how many miles around the uk this year. Dispite their reputation its attualy a really good car with alot of scope for further mods even if its not a mint example!
oh and its got Tax and Test untill April I think
