heh heh, vannilla ice. what a knob. anyhoo,whats the best way to mount a 12 inch sub into my 123 230e, for maximum ear bleedage and kidney batterage?

For ear bleedage you might like to get your partner or perhaps a friend of your choice to tw@t you round the side of the head with it! For kidney batterage, place the sub on a concrete surface and jump as high into the air as you can and land kidnet-first on top of it. Repeat with other kidney

with a ported box with about a 12 inch round hole cut in the middle I always find a ported box can be tricky to get right with the size of the port. Also they can make for a more wooley bass note. Sealed box for the win. IMO ;D

what you want bruv is some sony Xplod 6x9's mounted on a 2mm thick standard issue fiesta compressed cardboard parcel shelf,run these off a 'Tandy' 15MW purple 9-way amp with gold terminals, use some old telephone cable to connect it all up cos its got loads of small wires inside one fat one, keeps it neat innit bro! Wikkid!

speaking of ice i finally sorted the carlton for sounds. have gone from the standard issue mw/lw radio casstte. to a fusion cd mp3 headunit!!
nice to have tunes again ;Dbets on how long till the bog standrd dash mounted speakers fry!!!

got mine sorted too, got a Sony CDX-C5000RV, (with 2 faces, one limited edition), a 500W sub and 500W ported box with gold plated connectors, 2 100W amps for the mid-range speakers... ;D

Hmm, my bro had a sub in the boot of his Rover P6. Could hear the sum total of f*ck all from inside the car! What would be cool, is if you could remove the centre armrest in the back of your Benz and build in a bass tube to the boot!
