What are these like to own and drive I wonder:

I could see a real advatage using one now as a commuter car, you could steam down the buslane of the M4 with no-one raising an eye brow

I've wanted to small-block Chevy one for years, maybe slammed just a little, with bigger brakes and some wider, but subtle steel wheels on it, you know, to handle the extra power a little better without taking away from the stealth of it all, I'd love to make one that just looks like a normal FX4 but goes like f*ck! It'd have to be the earlier chrome bumper model for me though, preferably with the earlier dashboard. One of these days when I'm not skint I really should do that, it wouldn't be hard to find one either, Glasgow and Edinburgh use black cabs too, among other places, more LTis now but there are still some FX4s, so there would probably be retired early ones about here somewhere, Glasgow's not far from me and neither really is Edinburgh.

I can just imagine the scene.... lurking around the city centre in a V8 powered cab, when some suit in a hurry jumps in the back... then just let rip

By the way - that light at the leading edge of the roof is now a scoop that goes down the back of the windscreen and gives a 9.8 litre V8 lots and lots of air
