So its a general yes then? I don't want to get involved with lowering or custom interiors! The idea is is to just have a quirky set of wheels on my girlfriends Ka that isn't going to cost ME much. Just got a set of hubcaps. ;D Wheels are in motion on this project....

I'm saying yes, but I'll back up that there should be some serious suspension adjustment and some strtch to avout the 'Rostyles with 175/70s on a council estate Escort MkIII GL in the 80s' look.

Arches look to big on modern cars for old small wheels, just makes your motor look like a scalextric car, looks as bad as an old car with large diameter wheels on i reckon, and that nasty stretch idea just makes em look worse.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

If it's not being lowered, I think that increases the chances of it looking wibblepoo. But saying that, it's only wheels - they can be taken off if it didn't work well

Go for it on low profiles and lower IMO a few other matching odd features would carry the theme too.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

That works for me. I reckon you'd get away with dartboards on it, too.
