Anybody know what carb I can still get for a 1256 in a chevette. I can get a filter from K&N but keep drawing blanks with carbs.
Any advice would be great as I would like to get a little more grunt from the weezy 1256 as it will be a couple of years before I can even think of an engine swap £££££££
Cheers

slap an 1-3/4" SU on there, get the vizard mini book and play with needles until it goes well... your never going to get decent poke from a 1256( well you maybe can but its got a 3 bearing crank so revvings a dangerous game!) kinda like trying to polish a turd..... scott

Hi,
Had lots of chevettes and done lots with them, best thing you can do with the 1256 engine is to replace it with something more efficient.
