I've acquired a set of girling 240 front calipers for vented rotors for my E21, problem is they came without pad pins/springs. My local motorfactors had ordered a set in for me but unluckily they come up too short, so they were either for the rear or for the solid rotors. What I want to know is exactly which 240's came with vented rotors so I can get the correct ones this time. I've searched and came across that the estates got them, but it wasn't a clear cut answer. I've signed up to a volvo forum to ask the same question, but they haven't authenticated me yet and I need to get these pins ASAP...
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty damn certain the 240 estate uprights i got sitting at home with the 4 pot calipers have vented discs attached. P.s. Can i forward a motion to stop calling brake discs rotors? It's just not cricket i tells ya. Ooh another idea-perhaps look on the gsf website-they should have the right discs listed for the right model variant.

Ha, yeah sure, I'll call them discs from now on. That relates back to my push bike days, where they are called rotors! I'll have a look on GSF then. If anyone has a numberplate I can borrow that'd be even better, but for obvious reasons I can't expect anyone too.
Cheers
