PPC434L - My first car, VW 1303, is unlicenced apparently.... given that the parts are spread over quite a few counties and the shell probably forms someone's baked bean tin now that's not surprising! they never wrote to me complaining that i'd not taxed it though....

My Dad's 1984 MK2 Golf GTI is still around as is his 1987 320i and his 1989 BMW 535i Sport, he'll be happy. My Mum's 1988 K10 Micra had its records last changed in 1990 and is currently unlicenced, some of it is probably in my kitchen cupboard then! ;D

I don't really understand this, is this car still around by the looks of this? Its my Uncles old Ford Prefect 100E when he owned it, it was one of the best in the country but since he sold it, it hasn't been seen at any of the shows or in the area where he used to live as far as we know.

By the looks of things it's been on the road until recently, I'd imagine that it's been taken off the road between '98 and '04.

Now I think about it, it would have been sold in around about '98, so is it possible it hasn't been on the road since it arrived at its new owners house?

It's possible. I wouldn't be surprised if it had been taken off the road and modified, look at the number of 100Es you see doing quarter miles and similar, I wouldn't be surprised if it'd been modded by now and that's why it hasn't been back on the road. Sorry, I'm not helping, am I?

I think he'd rather it be off the road than doing 1/4's tbh lol, maybe I should keep my bit of info to myself.

My G40 correctly comes up as Exported.....
Get this - my mum's 1991 Astr-a lasted until 1998 until it was scrapped - 7 years old. Her 1985 Polo breadvan was only scrapped in 2002 - that's 17 years old! And cost less than half what the astr-a did......
