Sorry for the boring thread but I need to get he nuts on the wheels so I can move it
The question is about the wheel bolts for the dolly project.
I have a 1976 1850 shell with standard 1850 front hubs. I have a dolly sprint rear axle with 7/16" wheel studs on.
the front are slightly smaller diameter - I don't know what size?
I have bought MGF 15" alloys that need a domed nut, but I need them in the two different sizes. I also need them to be fairly long as the studs on the dolly go through the wheels a bit further than they would with the original wheels on.
my question is can any body tell me exactly what size I need and where I might get them from.
I am wanting to move the car off the axle stands (first time in over a year) to get to the painting of it (in RAL2003 orange) after having spent some time painting it french blue!! p.s the wheels are actually in chrcoal grey metallic not silver.
Some pic of the project etc.
Your help is appreciated trying to gert the car ready for this summer.
