I've had these for about 2years. I had the best intentions of getting them on the 'scort, but with it staying as a daily I can't really justify them and a twin choke will have to suffice.
I bought these off a good friend of mine, who's brother had been building a mk1 golf/caddy (cant remember which right now, and i don't suppose it matters ), I was told the jetting should be pretty good for a 1600 xflow as they were last run on a hotted up 1500GT. I still have the pre-xflow manifold and the xflow one I bought, as well as a set of those little rubber 'o' ring gaskets for between the carbs and the flanges.
I'm gonna say that these will need a rebuild as Ive never seen them working, but they look i decent nick
The carbs are currently in a box, along with all the unused stuff from my recent engine fettling, so Il get more pics on thursday if anyone wants owt specific.
I hate queing in the post office, so collection only I'm afraid, from Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Price? .... How does £150 with both manifolds and gaskets sound?
