My new anglia project came with some spare wheels. Six of them. Four Rostyles that need a refurb and two 7" slotmags. I have a set of D1s that came with the van. I was going to try and find two more slotties and sell the Rostyles. Until I saw this on the bay. So, in your opinion, what looks best? Slotties. Dunlops Or just the steels that are on it painted black

never been a fan of slots unless they are massive and on a yank tank, D1's look very fussy and i'm not a fan of them either really, deep dish rostyles on the other hand look sweet with the proper chrome trim ring on especially on an old ford, sometimes traditional is best.
ps, them steels you got on it now are gross, even painted black they'll look cack, to much inset and no dish, they just look like you cant afford nice wheels.

The dunlops. Slots are too much of a 'heavy' design for an anglia, and rostyles are a very close second behind the dunlops. I luv rostyles, they just don't sit on the anglia as well as dunlops imo

Rostyles weigh a ton. Slots can look ok especially if they are wide with a decent offset. D1's are perfect for an Anglia but then I'm biased, pity they didn't do them in 7 x 13". Modern steels could look good if you get them banded.

Dunlops!
But maybe you could paint/polish them differently to normal. Raw blasted finish with polished rims and fins perhaps?

All three! Rotate them through the season.
(but if you have to choose one, then it's the Dunlops)

Rostyles ....... they have style in the name for a reason fella Dunlops would look OK too - but the Ro's pinch it - especially wider than hell

I voted Dunlops, 'cos they look ace on 60's cars. I'd go along with what Seth says about doing them in natural cast with polished highlights.
