Still lets not stray too far off topic! Some women fail to see the practicalities of a van, but in reality, if it all goes wrong, at least I've got somewhere dry to kip. |

And cheers, I'm liking the van more and more as I use it. If only I could sort a decent exhaust for it  |

Can't be taht hard to find an exhaust for one of them surely, what about a Bike exhaust they seem to becoming more and more common. (Not nessersaryly on aircool's just in general)

I can get a stock one for £87 (silencer only).
The van is a 1915cc WBX, it's water cooled and based on the T1 engine, so I want to go for a decent merged setup.
Turbo Thomas is making a header for my mates van, with a 2.1 (basicly the same, but faster) and I'm gonna see how that works out for him, if it's any good I'll get one, and make a turbo muffler for it, Cal look bug style.

LA Performance do A mild steel merged jobby and turbo muffler for the WBX Engine... about £150 for the header and £90 for the muffler (I think)... He's the guy who did the exhaust on the Type4 lump that's now in the Samba.... |
