They did a 4x4 version of the Mehari  I've always had a strange addiction to old Citreons, probably started when I was in a small village in the south of France on holiday as a child and hearing a car approaching for about 10 minutes before it passed me, it was a ratty blue Citreon Ami with a dodgy exhaust  |

Thats really wierd, a mate took a piccy of one of those begining of the week on a trailer and asked me if i knew what it was, he was thinking along the lines of a Trekker but I said no, I thought Koke at first then I saw the 3 lug Citroen wheels. I said I'd post it up here but he couldnt be bothered to get the image off his phone  I beleive he saw it somewhere around North London |

The renault was the Rodeo, not quite as raw as the Mehari, but good fun all the same  old style  newer style  |

Actually this thread has reminded me of an incident about a week or so ago... Stopped at a roundabout near me, waiting at the front of the queue for a gap, when a Traction Avant zoomed round, leaning wildly, right past me and took the exit for Liverpool! It looked superb - matt black with a primer grey passenger door! |
