Clarksons Car Years? I watched that when I got in ;D loved that chev, 2.2 wasnt it? For thoes that havent seen it its Clarkson discussing the history of the hot hatch, first being the Sunbeam Lotus and Chev, then Golf GTi wiped floor with them, Pug 205 GTi then wipes floor with Golf GTi, goes on about the Escort XR3i, then in the end the Escort RS Cossworth 'Cossi' wipes the floor with all of em! ;D ;D ;D This however does raise questions like, was the Hillman Avenger Tiger a hatch?  All mixed in with some nice wheels spinning and sliding and genral goodness. |

No, the Hillman wasn't a hatch. It had a boot didn't it. My Grandad had a two door well before I was really interested in cars but I remember it was pretty cool. Apart from the fact that the doors had dropped already (about 1979 then).
