Damp down hill corner, I was going a little to fast. Lost the back end and the front had an intimate moment with a telegraph pole I've bent the wing, inner wing, slam panel, bumper, headlight, indicator and the tyre is ruined too! Oh joy! She still runs fine and drives JUST! Going to try and bend the wing off the tyre tomorrow and see if I can get to work Just trying to get a camera phone photo load up now, I f**king hate mobile phones. Edit: Heres a pic of the damage

curse word luck, dude. I know it's little to console you but the best thing is that you're okay. It is only a car. An awesome car but just a car Perhaps it was the car telling you to get a wiggle on with that hairdrier you promised it ;D *n

Glad you're ok dude, real shame about the car though, is gorgeous.. damage looks worse with the bonnet lifters too, as makes it look like it don't fit no more Should be easily fixable really, though wouldn't try to do it on the insurance if it was me.

Unlucky mate. At least nobody's hurt.
When I "had a little off" in my GLS. I lost the back end and slammed both wheels into a kerb breaking them, and the back wing and wheel hit a bollard bending the suspension and pulling the whole shell completely out of shape. I had to virtually shoulder charge the door to get it open.
You may recall, when you were thinking of adding shims to increase the neg on the back, I advised against. That's why. Lowered Sierras without the camber corrected can be as twitchy and unpredictable as curse word in the wet, even if you think you're used to it.

In situations like this a sedgehammer is your friend. Yep that seems to be the order of the day! get up nice and early then pound the living sh!t out of it Once you've got new panels, might be time to break out the nato green? Mmmm, trying not to think about the cost just at the moment. But I have the nato paint (rollers, sanding blocks and loads of cans for primer) and I deffo can't afford a proper spray job! So its a real possibility. Thanks for all you comments guys, it means a lot!

A new pattern (probably not a very good pattern) wing is £23.37 on ebay! Bargain!
I reckon if I batter the slam panel and inner wing straightish, I can just about afford to fix it ;D

if you PM me the details of the required bits and bobs (and the full details on the car) I can ask my mate in the breakers if there's anything in? he contracts all of the sierra's he gets to a local kit car firm for oily bits, so they all get chopped then baled anyhow!

Bu99er! I'll price up a wing for you 2morrow and see how it compares to the ebay. If you want someone to put it on and have a batter about with the adjusting stick just give me a ring. I'll give someone a shout in a minute and see if he's got a headlight, don't think he'll have an indicator tho.
