Yeah! They all seem to be freakin' miles away! Cornwall, Inverness, Wales.... It'd be worth it if I was spending a lot of dough but for a couple of hundred notes or something I don't fancy a 300 mile round trip! ;D

If ever there is a nice car on the bay it is normally in a place you have never heard of, you put it into Multimap hoping that it isn`t too far away and you find that its in the north-west Scottish Highlands ;D

i went a little over 500 yards for my audi the polo was 40 miles, my old golf was really zero miles cos i bought it on the way somewhere - bus into nottingham, buy a golf as i walk past the station then drive away hehe longest was my first car, a 1303S beetle - the guy had told me about it on the phone so i got a lift down with my ex's dad to Camberley (250 miles), he dropped me off at 5am (!!) but i found a pub that was open - doubling up as a village shop and newsagent - so i sat there drinking hot chocolate until the garage opened. one test drive later and i bought it - good job it was solid as i had no other way of getting back!

Not ebay, but i got a lift to 'that' Lahndan (actually Romford) from Lancashire to pick up my fasty. Maybe 250/260 miles each way.
Fasty didnt skip a beat on the way home except when it peed petrol all over the services when a fuel line came loose. If you're proper serious about a car/part, distance is no object.
My T25 was even futher- Isle of Wight to Middlesborough via home in deepest darkest lancashire (had to pick up owed cash from brother to pay for van!) Ended up being about 400miles to get it. Drove back to Adlington afterwards- didn't feel up to driving back home to the IOW.
van was even better on the way home- got a full tank of diesel chucked in with it, excellent fun to cruise back in.
Apart from tonycc, Mr plums, hairnet600 and Pillock, you're all wusses ;D
