There's a good reason that Time Forgot some of those mechanical tragedies.
We bought a 1978 Fiat new and watched as the interior dissolved within the first year, including the dash pad. These were designed with Mediterranean sunlight in mind? Seemingly not. QC nonexistent. Oh, but nice sculpture whilst motionless. No argument about that. Lovely.
