Very nice, loving the mods, I'm guessing its a factory Maestro turbo? Any close up pictures of the engine? We got a tatty red MG Maestro turbo, #234 or 505. have you seen www.maestroturbo.org.uk/ as they like to know how many of the 505 still exist if you havn't told them your reg already.

Its not a 505 but originally a 1.6 Advantage Engine shot before repainting and tiding up so please excuse the messy wiring etc as it was in development stage at this time

You're off your head son - shonky my That's a sweet motor, looks to be producing some serious power from that dyno readout. You obviously use it in anger - anything to report on the antics?

Nowt special to report, the norm is fix it, thrash it, fix it and repeat lol Its got a good few Cossie scalps under its belt now and the old 1.8vvc track Metro Coming up is a charity event in Wales where I'll get to go head to head with a 280bhp road going Maestro

Twin carb set up looks very intresting, how did you make the inlet?
It may not be a 505 but I couldn't tell, and you done a great job on it and looks fab in black.

Its 2 seperate modified inlet manifolds from either an old rover or triumph I cant remember which

Hi Ratty.. Nice to see another Maestro on here. The car speaks for itself Really is great looking..! Interesting to see the gear linkage has been move up into the car.. Why is that?

The gear lever was moved inside to provide clearance for the 3" exhaust to run down the tunnel and through the spare wheel well. The single silencer is in the wheel well see below

i was temted to buy those wheels for my car when i saw them on ebay didn;t realise that they were 4x114 on a meastro , my old man had an mg when i was a kid he loved it to bits as did we he used to wheel spin it on command all the time ! i think he had just as much fun as we did those were the days! top motor by the way and if you change your mind on the wheels drop me a pm
