Whilst out and about today I saw a Rover 200 fitted with a truly horrendous kit - I've had a quick google to fing if it was a home made kit, finding it highly unlikely that anyone would a) design and build something so obviously repulsive and b)find any buyers. It appears it's worse than I could've imagined: Oh dear. Incedentally, while I'm at it - I'd like to register my approval of the Rover BRM edition (1997), I love the interior!: www.austin-rover.co.uk/press/rov200_2.jpg

Horrible! My eyes my eyes! (BTW... what's the deal with the BRM's? I thought they were supposed to be quick? I had a "skirmish" with one on Sunday morning, absolutely blew him outta the water, despite the fact he was clearly "giving it beans..."? )

Ooh, exitement! There's a kit for my Wife's car! I'd need to tweak it a bit to fit an estate...but it'd definitely be worth it!

Reckon she'd become your EX wife pretty quickly if you made her drive round in a monstrosity like that!

Reckon she'd become your EX wife pretty quickly if you made her drive round in a monstrosity like that! Maybe just the front bumper then? ;D Performance figures for the BRM: 0 - 60 mph 7.9s 30 - 50 mph (4thGear) 7.2s 50 - 70 mph (4thGear) 7.6s Top Speed 127mph Not awesome, but enough to make it more than just a tart-up job.

Hmm. Part of me is looking at the pics on that site and wondering if they should be appreciated in a Bosozuku-type manner - designed to get a reaction and look totally ludicrous on the roads, and part of me just looks and goes: "hah hah you messed up your car and totally destroyed any resale value" ;D

I'm not even going to try to be objective about the awful bodykit jobs on here, because I don't think it's possible. They're really, really really bad! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Oh dear. I was followed by a Nova tonight that had a similar front dam. It was so offensive, I had to tilt my rearview mirror to avoid looking at it. Kinda looked a lot like a whaling boat bearing down on me.......

Hang on a min.... Isn't tha ghastly 25 at the top of the thread the one used by RaceX to promote its 'orrible 'fast road' bolt-on goodies?

Why oh why oh why ! Wouldn`t mind a BRM though, there`s one parks down the road from our office - very nice, almost tempted me to do some kind of orange surround for the grille on the Min ..

I've always fancied a BRM edition...dunno why.
Would need to do something about the performance though....Is it a K Series lump?
