gotta get som plug covers - ickle max is startin to poke fingers into sockets
paint the bimmer grille black
fit pads to 900 bicycle
flat the various spots on the bimmer and paint them
just off the smiffs to have a look round lol

Decided to change the points on the 1303 today (no gardening!). Mounting plate threads stripped so had to change that. Then clamp bolt snapped so had to change that. Timing was then out so had to reset that. Was it worth it? Oh yes! running much better and not a bad way to spend an hour or two. Not quite as pleasent but I also changed the oil in the air filter.
Stripped the vespa motor down last night as well, time to do a bit of porting I think!

Dismantled my airfilter set up on the Golf and cleaned the carb and repaired a couple of cracked air tubes. Then trusting in my own ability to put things back together properly drove it back to Wales from London,.. YAY for smooth running |

yesterday.... got my rocco electric windows working - YAY! had a minor problem with a left-over relay after i'd fiddled around in the fusebox, but can't find anything that doesn't work - i think the previous owner had put the electric window relay back in the aircon position (which this car ain't got) thus rendering the windows dead. so i didn't need a new relay after all! then getting out of the car i managed to collapse the drivers seat, the backrest just went all the way back.... managed to bodge it back together, feels like there's some teeth missing off the recliner mechanism. if i turn the knob it gets 180 degrees around then just goes floppy. try as i might i can't get the mechanism apart though. just waiting for some filler to dry over the badge holes on the rear panel then i'll flat it off and primer it (i did it almost properly with isopon first, so i haven't got little worms of filler on the other side)... then time to find a rattlecan of havanna brown and put my new decals on  |
