i don't really understand why bikes cant go in the readers rides section tbh, not knocking it tho bikes are cool

Because this is a car forum,.. there are plenty of bike forums around the place already.
This section (as stated in its intro) is for readers "other" modifications, that might include some exemplory bikes, but this is not a bike section. The idea is to look at what else we modify and either chuckle along with it, be in awe of it, draw inspiration from it, or show how cars have inspired us to modify other things.

it may go in "waves" similar to the other sections on here, like when loads of new members with golfs/j-tin etc all turn up at once, it could happen just the same in here.

Dunno about you lot but I posted my bike in Readers Rides. It's not a project, Mr. Honda and his mates built it, not me. When I build my rocket powered supermoto I will post it here. Because it will be a project.  |

Posted a bike in Readers Rides before to mixed responses. Mr Kawasaki built it, my mate crashed it and I fixed it. So what if there are a large number of bikes in here. Different strokes for different folks, but a lot of cross fertilisation is no bad thing surely?

I just don't want this board/section over run with bikes of a motorcycle variety... on indeed overrun by pedal power, this should be a nice mix of modified stuff as inspiration for and inspired by our main focus ... cars  |
