Anyone got these.... I'm liking them as I will then put the black vinyl rear seat back in to match & some of the other interior trim - getting bored with the stripped out look now They look nice & comfy, are they?? My only concern is they don't look/ seem to be very tall & will that make them look out of place in the Escort?? PS Would get them WITH the headrests ;D

I've got a pair of those in my workshop, they came out of that kit car i broke. I was gonna put them in my minor but they're really tiny and IMO they'd look lost even in something that small. They're fairly comfy though, although I've only sat in them to drink tea and have'nt been on a long journey in them, and bear in mind that I'm only a skinny little runt and if your a more genorously proportioned individual you might have problems .

I got a black one with red piping for my driver seat in, its a Cobra Classic but the Corbeau version is very similar.
Very comfy and plenty of side support, especially under your knees.
They are quite small though some might look out of place in a Mk1.
Are you getting them mail-order or shop buying them? You could take out your passenger seat and trail fit one in place maybe.

Thanks Guys. Have had a measure up & they do seem a fair bit smaller than 'average' ;D Have been looking at the Monaco aswell as that's available in black vinyl apparently - gotta be doing it as cheap as possible to keep the wife happy ;D Hopefully at Castle Combe Saturday so will have a look in Merlin, see what they have on display there. May give a better idea.

can't go wrong if even the misssus agrees! ;D pics of the seats would be good....70s viynl! I know!! I'm making the most of it - prob wont last long ;D ;D & I'VE GOT 'EM Wasn't sure if I'd make it up tommorrow, so went up after work this evening. One is upside down as I type being measured to drill the alloy sandwich plate to fit them ASAP. Relly want to fit them to current subframes as don't want the aggro of re-drilling & plating the floor etc No pics yet Missus has been away & took the camera with so now can't find it Probably in one of her bags!! ;D

They look nice aswell Mr Sigma A mate knows whats gonna happen...... He said today, ''you'll fit 'em, love 'em & wish you fitted them back last year when you were first on about it!!!'' I replied ''yeah, probably'' ;D ;D With what I've measured up & looked at now, looks like it won't be tooooo bad a job to fit them - fiddly I expect but we're all used to that ain't we? Probably take just as long to get the alloy firewall out & get the rear seat & shelf down from in the loft ;D ;D Expect an updated post in Readers Rides soon .....but how soon??

You sound pretty pleased with them, I bet they'll look great, you'll feel so much more involved with the car too.
In the words of Peter Kay...
When people say... "it's always the last place you look".
Of course it is. Why the fugg would you keep looking after you've found it?
Do people do this? Who and where are they?
