Was it me or did he tell the nation to run a £1 piece around the the gaps of a cars bodywork to see if it runs true?
It was in one of his older programmes.
If someone came round here and done that I'd do my pieces!

Haven't seen that one, but he probably did, it sounds like the ridiculous kind of thng he'd be talked into. While he said that, the script-writers, and everyone else off camera, were all curse word themselves laughing at what they had made the eejit say now!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Personally I think Mr.Brewer talks pants quite a bit of the time...but that's all part of TV land...in my opinion anyone who brings more cars to the telly can't be all bad. I'll shake his hand anytime. |

I've got to say it might all seem a little contrived on TV, but that's the way it has to be. The subtle approach seldom works. Have you ever seen any early Clarkson? Timid, gangly and unsure come to mind, but he's done alright eh? By creating a character, you become a marketable force and that brings success. It's something we'd all do, that's for sure. But
how many threads have involved Mike Brewer so far on here? And we all know who he is, good or bad. You could do worse things for money, and I suspect a lot of us have...

The interview thought had crossed my mind. It need to get working on sorting out some more interviews as it happens. I want to get Richard Hammond interviewed (Top Gear guy not Retro Cars guy). I'd like to get one of the people that organises the Goodwood Festival of speed interviewed, preferably Lord March. Not sure who else at the moment to be honest. Going to finally sort out the approved links for the website at the weekend  |
