the red plate is the old type irish registration system which was ended n 1987 and changed to euro plates as seen on my corolla. they are very very hard to get these days as most have fallen apart and bent. thats one of the reasons i bought it!! peachy... that engine is in my other grey starlet, ive a pic here of it on dellortos. ive a spec list somewhere too .. that power is conservative i think, because the car is faster than my 130bhp corolla! i must get it rolling roaded .5mm oversize pistons ported, skimmed head, triple angled valves hand polished and balanced crank TRD bearings all new seals lightweight flywheel, TRD clutch KENT race cam, TRD valve springs and adjustable pulley TRD 4 branch exhaust manifold janspeed rear box TRD inlet twin 40 dellorto DHLA's sard regulator EARLS oil cooler setup (waiting on pipes ) splitfire electronic ignition TRD leads 5 speed box 3.9 TRD 2-way lsd    |

Looking legendary man, good to see another irish lad on here! Red plates are great, you're right about their usual condition though. The Twam looks clean, real clean.....just seen a buddy of mine that bought two of them recently - love those cars. Drifting didn't start in Japan - it started in Donegal and Cavan!!!!
Did anyone ever use that Starlet, that is a brilliant find - "minty" in condition and colour!Is it getting rims/lowered or whats the plans?

That Corolla - you don't live near Cork / Waterford way do you? Pretty sure I saw you when on hols visiting in laws - pointed out how achingly cool the car looked and the wife grinned and nodded, humouring the mad man.
