Wow unreal cars really jealous the best colour they made them in as well. One early and one late as well. It doesn't get better unless you find an Alitalia liveried ex works model. Been offered one but its at the other end of the country and sounds rotten as a pear.

You've been tangoed- and you absolutely love it! Actually me too. Do you have a second driver for confusing with double takes on motorways?

The late one i actually sold last november as i'd been using it at a daily driver for 5 years and it was starting to need quite a bit of attention to the bodywork,so it's currentley stripped down to a rolling shell. The new owner's thinking of converting it to an abarth replica. An alitalia ex works car would be superb but a big lottery win needed for that one! Will have to make do with a replica for now which is floating around on here somewhere.

I love them too - and yes it was a gem of a find - how did you find it? I loved the Fiat 131 - it was the last of the Fiats with that lovely deep raspy Fiat exhaust sound.

a nice rare find you have there. I know of one other like it a metallic brown 132 sport 2L funnily enough also a T reg it belonged to the owner a local fiat garage who died some years ago and has been kept by his son in excellent condition with very low mileage in a workshop covered by a cotton sheet, I last saw it about 4 years ago looking like new. unfortunately it will not be for sale.

If you go to Turkey you'll find they still make (licenced) 131s - and they're everywhere. Newer ones have some bits off the Ritmo/Stada Saloon (Regatta?) tacked on - lights, bumpers but great to see the mirafiori living out it's tenure.
I was in retro heaven (also lots of licenced Renaults out there too - fives, nines, millions of twelves)
