The second to last Midlands meet I thought was fairly good despite there not being a huge turnout, and I know that the last one did not have many people about at all! I was thinking how about doing another meet where the last two were held but during mid September, between the 19th September and 29th? Would be good to see a few faces again

A few of us discussed that at RR07 yesterday, would be nice to fit another couple in before the weather turns sh1te again (hahahahahaha). Watch this space as well for the rescheduled 'RetroBreakfast2' at The Hollies in Cannock on one of the Sundays in October.

Jezzzz, its been 25 years since I last went to Hollies !!! Blimey now I feel very old , In fact it was that long ago I don't even think the M54 existed... I hope they have washed the tables since I last went , and yes it made that big an impact on me (or should I say made an impact about 3 hours later) that I have never forgot the place.

Theres a great Diner in Long Ichington just south of Coventry that could be a cool place for a future retro breakfast.

Theres a great Diner in Long Ichington just south of Coventry that could be a cool place for a future retro breakfast. I know it well and would make for a great meet There's already an established monthly meet there on the first Sunday of the month: www.butty-run.com/Hot-Rod.htmlIt's pretty well-attended already, but I'll see if they wouldn't mind you guys tagging along. I say you guys because I'm otherwise engaged on October 7th, and wouldn't be able to go!!
