Edited earlier post with thanks to Samage ;D
Heart Of England Motoring Club Classic Meet, The Griffin Coventry Road (B4113) Griff Warwicks CV10 7PJ
Not far off J3 of the M6 between Bedworth and Nuneaton.
Go on, you know it makes sense!! ;D Apparently it's NOT 'The Griff' which is a Beefeater-type place, but a smaller pub, The Griffin. Unsure of times, lunchtime I should think...apparently there's a good turnout, so I'm going up with V8devon and a camera.
Catch you there if you can make it

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!

Mmmm, do I spy a Peerless Gazelle convertible? Didn;t know they made them. Is that a actually a Minx with a different front sheet metal? It drove into the car park and we all went "ooohh a Peerless"....turns out it was an AC.....sounded glorious though, 2-litre Bristol-powered (cue joke "2-litre Bristols are great, but two-gallon ones are better" ;D ). Top marks to the owner though for leaping out with a carrier bag and giving V8devon a gennie BL Rover V8 workshop manual, then running into the pub shouting "I've cleared out my garage, who wants some free seat belts" The Gazelle's actually a converted four-door Sceptre....done quite well though, we clocked the imperfections in the body when the low sun hit it- my dad's got a Super Minx convertible (another of his half-finished projects!) and the doors are a good 12" longer.

Ah, OK. Difficult to see the door length in that photo. DOes look like a well finished conversion though.
