Anyone up for a meet on the south coast? Perhaps you lot aren't too keen on trekking up to combe - d'ya wanna get a local meet penned up. I have a couple of mates in Southampton who I could cajole into coming one with a pug gti one with a manta, the bloke across the road has an impala and a victor and he says there are a couple of other retro hedz in the area. Soo...anyone up for it? **edit** To say, we have a date and time organised, now need to get as many people there as possible for the innaugural meet. Sunday - 29th October, meeting at about 11:30 at a place called SandbanksSee y'all there! |

Edited: Meet is at Sandbanks Car Park Multimap Google Maps(basically at the end of Poole Seafront) Meet there Sunday 22nd 29th Octoberfor 11:30(am!) I'll put my mobile number up nearer the time - for anyone running late to call and tell us to wait before we go boulevard cruising! ------------------------------ Dude, I'd love to come along if it's in or near Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington. I'd be up for some Bournemouth action, I've got a couple of mates down that way that'd be into too. Amazon on 17in Americans and a way cool Beetle. There's loads of stuff around that area.

Hey guys, looking at the FFOC forum and their dorset meet is at the The Avon Causeway hotel,
BH23 6AS. Which is just outside of bournemouth on the way to southampton.
What do people think of this as a first meet idea? Anyone know if it's any good?
Knightmare trying to organise summat when you don't know the area.

If I remember correctly, there's parking all along the seafront at Sandbanks, food/drink is just a run over the road. Would make a good location |

Shore Road/Banks Road I think it was, only been there a couple of times but it was really nice, parking right the way along... When I went by there were a load of Mini's parked up so I assume a few other people meet there.

Sandbanksaccording to multimap looks like a really really cool place IMHO. I'd rather do seafront type thing than the pub - we could always go there after some boulevard cruising... I vote for Sandbanks for a week on Sunday - 22nd 29th October, meeting up at shall we say 11:30? Tigran, Dan, how does that sound? If no one else turns up, it'll still be a better showing than the 1st NW meet I 'organised' Matt
