Right then guys, who wants a Midlands Meet?! I was thinking along the lines of; Snowdome in Tamworth (big car park) Sutton park (lots of potential for BBQs) If anyone who would be interested in a Midlands meet would put their name down and location, I will try and find a suitable venue. CaRs was brilliant and mainly because of the meet and greet aspect, so lets keep it going and sort out a regular meet! Any suggestions greatfully recieved

I vote snowdome,
because it has a major car park, local food outlets, it is easily reached from major motorways, it also has lighting for the night time. I am also sure that there would be no trouble from the owners because the car park is so large.
Another idea is the kingsbury water park which is nr tamworth, again very near to motorways, bbqs, big fields, only problem is it costs money to get in??

If people who want to come just add there names to the list, then we can see how many people want to come along?

I would like to come along from Nottingham (Rocco, or maybe infamous Audi 90 Quat) but am severely limited by child care duties randomly eves and weekends.
But if I can get time, Tamworth is not too far. Rutland would be a nice setting though (good roads as well)
How about a nomadic meeting? Different Midlands locatoin each time? Keeps it interesting and the travelling (esp if in convoy) is half the fun?

Sutton Park would be very near to me ;D Don't know if we would get hassle though from the rangers? Tamworth snowdome would also be fine for me.

hey Jammzr, didnt realise you were only in Sutton - small world etc etc! Yeah lived in Brum all my life (well all 23 years of it Looks like we've got quite a few names on the list now If we made it a regular meet that would be ace, the Retro-Riders united will never be defeated (mashed that saying a bit there ) Just a thought but anyone posting on this thread who has not already done so should put themselves on the, Retro Rides Map, we already have quite a few Midlanders on there

Wow guys this is looking really good ;D I'm hoping we can makeit a monthy meet (mabe even fortnightly) i think its a good idea we have the meet in a different location every time aswell, that way we all get to travel about and it keeps it interesting! Right so the names down as it stands are; Rob Nick Guy Dave Will Scimmie Jenn Chas James And the choices of locations are; Snowdome in Tamworth Sutton park Rutland Water Sixfields in Northampton I think it will be bst to have the meet on a weekend evening so as many people as possible can come, say 6pm Saturday Evening? I think the most votes has been for the Snow Dome so if everyone was up for that for the first meet we could make it next weekend (15th?) or its a bit short notice, but tomorrow (Sunday 9th) if anyone was up for it? Let me know what you all think and if anyone feel the Snow Dome is too far we can always find a more central location.
