Here is my 73' GT Beetle. It is a great car and has served me well but sadly must now go. It is very solid, but would befit from some tcl/attention!
It has a full rebuild about 6 years ago, The outside was stripped back and rebuilt with new wings, doors, running boards, window rubbers, rear valance and chrome. The engine was then fully rebuilt 5 years ago. The inside has had new carpet, bespoke headliner and door cards.
This has had thousands spent since ive owned it, so grab a great deal.
There a few minor areas in need of attention: It has a small area of rot in the nose of the bonnet and on the front valance. There is some bubbling to the paint, but only to the wings. The main shell and roof are in good solid condition.
It comes with tax till November, and is tax free and MOT till feb 09
I have also recently had the engine stripped down and tuned, so it running very smoothly.
When the renovation was compete it was valued at £3500 and if it was to be fully restored back to its factory GT look then it would be worth a lot more! (would love to see it don't but don't have the skills or money!!)
The GT edition is one of the rarest of beetles, there was only 2500 ever produced and I'm sure there are a lot less than that nowadays!! This was oiginally apple green!!
If you have any questions please ask!
Thanks for looking!
