Back in 1989 my dad got a new one in the dark grey metalic it was one of the best cars he ever had ..... prior to that he owned a montego "mayfair" Allegro 1750 hl in that Lovely bronze and a even a Nissan sunny 1.5 sgl nice,,,, howvwer back to your question i think it was for putting your cup of tea on ofr a sandwich ona family picnic .... but it was a quick car 1.9 gti Come on... They're not *that* bad... (They're even worse ;D ;D ;D ) |

I used to have a BX 16valve and it was one of the best cars I ever owned. Fast comfortable and quirky at the same time. I'd have one tomorrow if all the pug 205 boys hadnt already raped them for their engines.

Yeah, it's a damn shame.
BX's look sooo cool with some subtle mods and more agressive wheels and tyres. Plus they look totally slammed when parked!!

ive had three bxs and i must say i loved every one of them. oh i only paid £35 quid for them all put together ;D ;D ;D  the 1.7 td tzr is the one to go for, quick and 50 to the gallon due to wieghing as much as a king size bag of walkers |

I know where a BX is, 5 doors and 16 valve (I think it might be turbocharged, but am I probably wrong?) as far as I know, but it's not got a straight panel on it, and it's rusty beyond belief, and it's not been on the road in a looong time.  |

I haven't seen many rusty ones now that you mention it, but as I said this one wasn't particularly straight bodywise when it came off the road, and years of lying in a damp lockup in a costal town (lots of salt in the air) have really taken their toll on various bits of it.

my friend used to have one of them. used to get taken to school in it everyday (this was when i was about 5). it was a 1.9GTi i think and did 200,000miles before they sold it....then they got a Xantia....
