That Ad gets the Rev Dick award for funniest advert of the year so far. I was laughing for literally minutes ;D

'Tis good, that's true.
BUT I had to spend 20 mins explaining it to the missus last night about what it was all about.
Oh and VW are such jeffing Skoda Nazi's.
I recall a few years back when I had my 120LS and the dealer was FORCED to scrap all his spares cars and rear-engine new-old-stock if he wanted to keep trading. C*NTS.

Norm - That's absolute gospel. The dealer was WJH motors, formerly of Risely nr. Bedford & Santa Pod. It was a proper backwater sort of garage where the guy would come out to fill your car up with petrol. It was really great, until they launched the Octavia. We were invited to the launch party and took one out for a test drive (they'd supplied my Dad's Favvy Blackline to him) but the official line they had to tow from then on was that the rear-engine cars simply hadn't happened. Gutting, as they were also the dealers who'd supplied my 120LS new and had carried out every service on it, and suddenly they weren't allowed to touch it. The dealership has now relocated to a plush out-of-town showroom but I doubt that many of the old enthusiatic staff remain. Probably just VW trained monkeys. On the up side it looks like I mau actually get my project SKUD delivered this week, do let the fun times (re)commence!!!  |
