Desparately seeking a Corvette C4, any condition (provided it's running/driving) considered. Preferably a TPI motor, not an LT1 or Crossfire but pretty much anything will be considered. As long as it's not been converted to a 4 pot Any suggestions or links much appreciated! Cash waiting & will travel for the right car. Long story!

Got sent a picture of my previous one in Italy now and just long for it, miss it Just can't get the damned thing out of my head! Like so: >sigh< So want to get something to work on to make just as I'd like - something I'll really enjoy.... I'm still watching that cheap 2 door Toledo though, just in case! Just so changable at the moment but the C4 keeps sticking in my head

Oh - and I can't find anything vaguely equivalent to it, either! Screwed myself over in the process, too, I think - owned a great two door coupe which was relatively cheap and ticked all the right boxes and now I want something like it, but that's all there is for similar money! ;D

It's beautiful that one and my ideal spec - unfortunately it's about 3-4k too dear - but I can't help feeling that 3k of that is just being overpriced....... One of those where someone's looked at the cost of the car, then nailed the cost of the extras onto the price. Also, irritatingly, I knew that car was up for sale for 5.5k not so long ago, so am not particularly inclined towards it! Thanks though - in my watch, just in case it falls....

Buy my 3rd Gen Camaro! Mint on ebay now [silver one] half the money of a Vette, and to my mind, a better car [cue large arguement!]

buy the toledo, put the chevy lump in.... - kev Yea, that's what I keep thinking - and the Toledo finishes tomorrow...... Problem is getting it to handle the power - stock Sprint axle (which is what I'd use) can only take 300ft.lb and any decent Gen 1 smallblock will probably rape it! ;D Although I guess I could just go easy on it until I work out an alternative... Thanks for the offer Colin, I'll have another look and think about it!

I've had a look at eBay over there - because oddly enough, the last two C4s I looked at seriously sold to Germany - seems they fetch much higher prices in Europe at the moment! - yellow Gransport fitted car and a white Europe spec one! Seems that there's money to be made shipping them out at the moment! Thanks for the offer though ;D - Much appreciated - if you see any cheap......

Have a bit of german.... "Corvette LC4 Targa I'm Sammlerzustand zu verkaufen. " and now the important bit ;D Corvette C4 in what we call collecters condition (very good) Original 40,500 kilometers. Callaway twin turbo engine job with intercooler. K&N Airfilter. ZR1 Brakes. ZR1 Stainless exhaust system with racing cats (whatever that means) ZF 6 speed manual box. Yokohama Sporttyres etc etc.with spacers on the rear axle. All changes have been written in the logbook (legally necessary over here so no bodge job.) Accident free in very good condition. After a long run the engine leaks some oil. Engine runs without any other problems... sounds good and looks even better. Hope this helps you out...? Shall I give them a bell for you?

If you could that'd be really appreciated - I'm sure I can arrange a finder's fee or beverages of choice for that! The only thing that troubles me is what about import tax and that gaff? I mean, I'd drive it back.........So surely I could just drive it into the country, get it MOT'd and registered and all that gaff...... I shall enquire with the HM and see - I'll let you know
