At the moment I'm having to do a report on a trip to Gaydon I took with my college as part of my coursework.
The trip was quite good. I got to go in a 2.4 million pounds worth anechoic chamber. I also saw the latest Aston Martin. However they won't tell me what it is as it is top secret. It was covered in Camaoflage.
The downside now though, is that ive gotta write a report about it in detail.
If anyone here has any information, such as a URL link on the place, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Curt

How things change in just a few years, eh!
When I were a lad, physics projects invariably involved a potato, an ocilloscope, a couple of prisms, some wires and a lightbuilb, usually with the result that nothing happened. Then you'd write about nothing happening. None of this fancy days-out lark. None of your internet either so you could crib some notes when yopu forgot to take some (as you were slavering over Astons)!
Not being much help though, am I... ;D

It was at the Land Rover testing area. They wouldn't tell us anything about the car. In fact I shouldnt really be talking about it

Hehe, now this sort of thing makes me glad I'm done with the education system!! ;D Haha! That's what I thought too! Unfortunately, I really need to pull my finger out and start getting accredited to a professional body (either the RICS or the ICES). And that will mean writing a shed-load of papers, attending lectures and the like...ho-hum.

The latest Aston Martin is nicknamed the 'Baby V8' and is in all essence a small DB9. It uses the V8 engine Jaguar and LandRover use but obviously tuned up. I've heard one and they sound awesome, a friend of mine was taking part in the oil starvation tests they were doing on the test track only the other day. The test cars sould be rolling soon.
