few things have happened in the last few weeks, the main one is ive lost my best friend of 39 years to a heart attack and its made me realise whats important, so, I'm selling the truck and just keeping the zephyr as its a passion, youve seen it nightmares old one, runs superb,1600, twin hoke weber, 5 speed, smoky on start up but ok on running (valve seals) minilite wheels with excellent tyres, solid as a rock underneath, original 1 ton bed, patched up inside but done well, crusader interior and original headrest bench seat, taxed and tested, ready to go, just fully serviced and proffesionally buffed, a few imperfections on the body but overall for a truck very good, sunroof and cd player, 205 2 litre unleaded engine to go with it as well pm me with offers

If you have followed my confessions over time, you would realise that I am a redneck at heart where trucks are concerned. Closer to home, my second car ever was a light blue 1982 Cortina 1600 with a canopy, which I had in my 2nd,3rd and 4th years as a student. Did some pretty bizzare stuff with, and in the pickup bed, had matress, music etc. I still say that it is one of my favourite cars of all time. Right now I have garage parking for the 1977 Audi 80 Estate in my signature, and have been investigating, and proceeding with getting a Skoda pickup..... once I can land insurance under £300, best to date is £402.
I have to pass on this, but know I will kick myself later for it, and others may line up to give me a kicking too ;D ;D ;D
I hope someone takes it soon.
They are wonderful trucks to live with, and once you load a ton on them, they are happiest. 2.0liter and 5 speed will make it even better.

this sold so quick when it was nightmares, and i was kicking myself. If we weren't in talks over a yank truck at the mo, id defo be edging towards making an offer. Surprised its not been snapped up already, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too long..
good luck.

Grizz, thats a pity it could be cool, you could sleep in it, like your old one, just like 'Rivers' off Heartbreak high used to in his Ute! Neat truck BTW , sadly got too many Ford projects already...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
