not the life on frikkin mars car either.
SWMBO sale...
1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue sedan, 318 V8 (5.2 litre) 3 speed auto, recently fitted with brand new Holley 600 VS autochoke carb, Edelbrock chrome air filter, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, recon Dodge Challenger electronic distributor, MSD6 multi-spark CD ignition, AIR emission system removed, etc. All (most?) stock parts still present so you can refit the computer curse word if you insist.
Spec includes... air con, PAS, PAB, vented discs, power seat, power locks, elect windows, remote mirrors, trunk release, quilted velour interior, shag pile carpet, basket wire wheels, radio cassette with optional rear amp "premium sound package", tinted glass, although after market tints have also been fitted.
Has a recon auto trans and a stainless exhaust on it.
Taxed to end August 07 (although I'e lost the disc at the moment) and MOT until late November 07
Runs and drives - but the autochoke is not hooked up so runs bad when cold, also culd use a good service and tune up / clean plugs /etc. Also autobox kickdown probably needs adjusting. Tyres are shocking. paint is going matt. vinyl roof wants replacing. aftermarket tints want removing (IMO), heater valve is bypassed as it leaks (cheap part from USautomotive)...
Interior is superb, body is rock solid, no rust, never welded, never crashed as I can tell, looks like all trim & chrome good and present, should be dead easy to make a really nice car out of it.
Looking for a grand which is well less than what it owes me so far.
Would love to keep it and finish it off but I need a smaller cheaper RHD car... (with an MOT)
Looking for....
Cortina (pref Mk3/Mk4)
J-tin from the 70s (260C, C130 Laurel, etc.)
Hillman Hunter/Avenger/Superminx
A60 Farina
Landcrab
Princess
Victor / Viscount / Cresta
Granada mk1/Mk2
anything else you reckon I might like...
swaps or cash my way only.
sale inclues a few useful spares and genuine factory service manual
I'm in Nottingham.
Anything else?
here's the pics...
and some thoughts for inspiration
