I have a similar set-up. It's the one with the big pump on the top to pressurise the canister.
Took me ages to get the thing to work properly - I had to mix in a bit of white spirit to thin it cos it wouldn't spray.
After you get it spraying, there ain't much to it really - just blast it liberally around the place. Just make sure you remember where you've sprayed it if you're doing grinding / welding as it's pretty flammable stuff!
I've heard people say avoid spraying box sections with it cos it'll go up in flames if something like a grinder hits it, but I never bother - I just have a bucket of water next to me when chopping bodywork! ;D
