IIRC thats tom newman's corsair. jonnysierra knows more about it AFAIK its engineless and gathering rust still.

I remember the Hot Car project PA! IIRC it was painted in Tangerine Pearl, but you're right in saying it had the stock 2.2 six-banger under the bonnet. They gave it away in a competition sponsored by Karobes (they of the seat covers) in late 1977.

Remember seeing the corsair behind a barn in maldon about 15 years ago. Talking of gassers just started building another viva, hopefully along these lines. hopefully want it street legal.

Have you any pctures of the front suspenson on the HA , know it was on a E93a pop chassis with pop front suspension but unsure if the location, was it on the original wishbone or hairpins.

That Cresta used to live in a lock up about 20 yards from my house when I first lived in London and was still running then and looking awesome.
But that was 15 years ago so no idea if it's still about...
really sweet though, hope it didn't get Pro-streeted in the Nineties...

i loved that cresta when i 1st saw it, around 1983 i beleive, love the fact the guy used a v12 as opposed to the rv8 which was the hot ticket at the time, fab thread. want me a gasser now ;D
