he might have been right take 1 omega v6 bolt it to a red top bellhousing and ford type 9 insert in car find out how mad max felt ;D but on a serious note it wont fit the marina its hitting the bulk head and front slam panel and inner wings (unless ya were gonna space frame it or something i wouldnt bother ) strange that a v8 is smaller than a vauxhall eco lump we picked the car up for nothing and had some stuff lying about the shed thought we would fire it in the marina for a laugh the marina was mocked up for a c20ne 8 valve it fitted ok but the bet for the beer was on weather or not the v6 would fit lol

interesting....
Would a V6 bolt up to a senny/carlton 'box then?
How wide and long is it?

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

strange that a v8 is smaller than a vauxhall eco lump Not really when you think about it! The heads on a DOHC engine are FAR taller than on a pushrod lump! I bet it will fit if you really want it too though! Strip it right back and see whats still touching the body...

When it comes to proving a sibling wrong, there is no effort too great. Get the angle grinder out.

any way we were not really gonna put it in there thats whats going in my viva
yes most vauxhall boxes use the same pattern how do ya think they get v6 s / lets in corsas / novas
the only boxes that i know are different is the older push rods and the 2.0 manta box (thats why people doing a redtop conversion need 1.8 manta parts)

V8 probably isn;t smaller, just has things in more convenient places to fit (eg sump hump, whatever). Check with Rob or whoever else has/had a V8 Marina, wouldn't surprise me if the bulkhead is cut to fit it.

don't really wanna cut it up as its acctually pretty clean underneath
as i said above we have had a 8v in it and it fitted ok
i think its the width of the heads with it being 24 valve
i prob could put it in as it looked like it would go in from underneath
when we had the 8 valve in it it did sit low but ya should see it now with the weight of the v6 in it lol
