I'm going to replace the tubular exhaust manifold on my Mk1 Cortina GT. 105E Speed are doing a 4 into 1 manifold, and the standard GT is 4 into 2 into 1. I'm sure I read somewhere that 4 into 1 gives you more top end power and 4 into 2 into 1 is better for low end torque - anyone know, and is it really noticable. Anyways here are some manifold related pics: (105Speed's manifold) Cheers ;D

Think I've heard the same as you. Most street systems tend to be 4-2-1. Great pics!

4 into one will definatly enhance the top end power but a lot of it will have to do with what else is going on with the engine. If you take a stock manifold of a standard engine and replace it with a 4 into one, or even a 4-2-1 you wont really notice much difference. The more higher state of tune your engine is in the more the effect of the manifold will be noticable. Hope this makes sense
