IF ANYONE ELSE USES THE WORD BROUGHT INSTEAD OF BOUGHT I MIGHT GET VERY VERY VERY VERY ANGRY.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Oi! Pictures!
I can't Photoshop without an image to work with.
Yo language pedants, my chairman loves to pull us up at work for our lack of articulation with the English language, so we make up words and use them in front of him to catch him out ;D Kind of like Blackadder and Doctor Johnson.

I'm usually easy going when it comes to spelling discrepancies, but this one appears so often and really really boils my p***. Its playschool!

I'm with Mr Monium here... Likewise your/you're; the amount of folk I would actually be physically violent to for that particular misuse is beyond belief.

It's not just you. It's when you find yourself going out with a marker pen inserting missing apostrophes and peeling off superfluous ones that you should begin to worry. Worry more when you read some of Lynne Truss's work and find yourself falling in love with her despite her outward appearance.

Thank goodness its not just me. You're not alone. On another board on which I moderate, I spend far too long correcting these IRRITATING blunders... Sad, that's me

Sorry ginger, the one this thread was supposed to be about before it descended into a (much needed sometimes) spelling and grammar test.
To hi-jack a little, I'm almost done convincing Mrs W that I need to bring a certain Minor that I've promised to buy home. She blows just like our weather on this one. Hot one minute then freezing the next. All the while I'm beezing my frollocs off cycling to work!
